Jonah turned two on saturday. Instead of stressing myself out about a party we decided to make a fun day of it! We ate at one of our favorite restaurants in Baxter Springs, Cafe on the route. After Lunch we went on to Galena Where they have the actual truck that “Mater” from the movie cars was based on. The boys thought that it was absolutely great! Four Women on Route 66 also has a gift shop and snack bar where they serve snacks like corn dogs, hambergers, Pilly cheese steak, and funnel cakes. We didn’t eat there but the cafe looked really cool and I hear the food is quite good. Visit “Mater” on north main street in Galen, KS.
