I was looking through a typical wedding budget today and realized something….. Couples spend money on all types of things to make their day “perfect”. 5 years after my wedding I barely remember the details that I spent so many hours, days, and months planning!

We love to photograph weddings!!! Interesting people, fresh love, fun locations, music, ….the details are always different. I LOVE capturing the details of your wedding so they can be preserved.

Almost everything about your day is fleeting….. flowers will fade, decorations will come down, aunt mary will change out of the orange and green poka dot dress, & the party will eventually end ….. eventually. All these things live on in your photographs. This is why we treat your wedding so delicately. Capturing it completely.

Three things that should definately stick with you after your big day…..

1. LOVE… AHHHHHH
seriously, we want you to be sucessful in marriage.

2. the rings….. don’t lose these.
my dad told my mom “take care of it because it is the only diamond you will ever get’.
(he did get her another for their 25th anniversary, but who wants to wait 25years?)

3. Your PHOTOGRAPHS!
your entire wedding should live on in your pictures.

I wanted to reinforce her value for ALL life regardless of age, social status, & intelligence ….
Please read her post about children with Down Syndrome! Can you belive 9 out of 10 parents choose death for their unborn child, whom they are told has DS! I am sure this diagnosis would be absolutely DEVASTATING but……
